Retrofit Works
Retrofit works on this home included:
- Demolition of stud partition between WC and bathroom to create one large bathroom
- Erection of stud partition to accommodate wheelchair accessible door
- Insulation of bathroom walls and fibre glass of wetroom floor and walls of shower
- Creation of wetroom shower tray to accommodate an easy accessible entry
- Retiling of bathroom with new sanitary ware and wet room screens
- Kitchen floors insulated between joists using Open cell Spray Foam
- Kitchen roof using spray foam
- Insulation of external walls using 100mm Isovers Optima dry lining system with air tightness membrane
- Rewire of kitchen
- Installation of new kitchen and worktops, laminate floor and skirting
- Removal of existing felt from roof
- Installation of 80mm rigid foam insulation to create a warm roof
- Installation of firing pieces to create sufficient fall and fibreglass resin roof covering to prevent leaks
- Installation of new lead flashings and new fascia
